Senior Full-Stack Software Developer (m/w/d)

At CALIMA we're developing digital services that protect the safety of employees. We have the vision to make workplaces more secure using innovative technology.

We're looking for a senior-level software engineer to join our team. As one of the first employees you'll be working closely with the founders on the development of our core products.

Our tech stack is Node.js and MongoDB running on AWS infrastructure, powering our native mobile apps (Swift & Kotlin) and web apps (React.js).

🔎 What you should be passionate about
- Writing maintainable, clean and secure code
- Developing digital products that people enjoy using daily
- Participating strategic meetings, reviewing PRs, and pair programming
- Deploying highly reliable and scalable infrastructure

💪 Skills & Experience
- Fluent in relevant web technologies and databases: JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs, NoSQL databases
- Proven ability to implement complex services with high-quality frontend and backend code
- Experienced in making architectural decisions in technology stacks, deployments, testing, and application structure
- Fluent English (written & spoken)
- Eagerness to keep on learning new things

🎩 Nice-to-haves
- Fluent German skills
- Experience with native mobile platforms (iOS & Android)
- Experience in cloud computing and DevOps
- Interest in UI/UX design
